I love learning, and I love to share what I know with others. Even when you face a learning obstacle or are studying an advanced and difficult course, there many ways to find success and have fun along the way. My peers always approached me when they had difficulty understanding something from an instructor, so I've had lots of practice explaining concepts in plain language. I'm adept at making complex ideas easier to understand, and I am patient and willing to explain things multiple different ways until my student feels comfortable with it. I love the moment when a concept clicks for a student. I can tutor math at the elementary and middle school level, history, reading, essays, English, literature, social studies, government, psychology, religions, anthropology, politics, and more. In my free time, I love rowing, and I'm looking forward to competing in rowing races. I also like to learn for fun and hike.
